Angus Young

Angus McKinnon Young is the lead guitar in the band "AC/DC". He was born 31.march.1955 in Glasgow. He have 6 older brothers ( one is Malcom Young who is the rhytm guitar in the same band ). When he was young he moved with his familie to Australia. The Young´s love music, sometimes they met and made some music. One day he took Malcom´s guitar and begann to play guitar. He learned it by himselfe. Angus spend all days by playing guitar, after school he ran first to the garage to make some music with his friends. With 15 he left the school to work for his own guitarquipment. One of the first bands he played were called Tantrum. The audience loved him, because of his movements like the "Duck Walk" (from his idol Chuck Berry),"The Bob" and his "spasm" (=he throws himself to the ground, kicking, shaking, and spinning in circles, while playing the guitar). This moves and his schooluniform made him legandary, and also a symbol for AC/DC. Black Ice which was realeased on the 17.october.2008 is the twentyfirst record and I would not be the last. This year AC/DC is going to make an open air tour.(24.may.2009 in vienna)
